Chief Executive Officer - MiLife-Victoria

  • MiLife-Victoria has a very clear set of values that assist our people in their day-to-day dealings guided by the value-led leadership of our CEO. Our new CEO will lead and develop operations and governance to support delivery of the Board’s strategic and commercial priorities.

    We are looking for a suitably experienced and qualified person with the ability to relate to people at all levels, someone that can inspire our team to achieve the identified strategic objectives. Our new CEO will continue to work with key stakeholders to identify new partnerships and develop commercial opportunities.

    Reporting to an engaged board, the CEO has oversight of all strategy, policy development, finance, operations, business performance and HR and direct supervision of a leadership team of eight.

    CEO Responsibilities

  • Overall leadership and responsibility for day-to-day management of the organisation
  • Lead MiLife-Victoria’s innovation and growth strategy
  • Lead a caring culture of collaboration, growth, resilience, reflection and excellence
  • Oversee, manage & report to the Board on strategy, operations and performance
  • Manage regulatory environment and governance to ensure the organisation is protected
  • Ensure effective administration and management information systems are in place
  • Financial management of the overall organisational budget, including driving an income generation strategy to achieve financial sustainability & growth
  • Provide leadership & direction to meet strategic goals, ensuring impact and outcome evaluation across all program offerings
  • Establish enduring networks and create authentic partnerships across the disability sector

  • A track record of applying an innovative and growth mindset and a great executor and driver of actions within organisations
  • Advanced skills in strategy and policy development, Financial skills, budget development and oversight, and board and organisational reporting and governance
  • Exceptional Human Relationship managements skills and experience in an environment with a diverse workforce
  • Energetic with a willingness as required to roll up your sleeves at the ground level and have the insight and skills to use this knowledge to drive the business at a strategic level
  • You are business savvy and understand commerciality required to run a successful business
