Meet our Executive Team
At MiLife-Victoria our Executive Team consists of our CEO and our Business Manager/CFO.
The Chief Executive Officer reports directly to the Board of Management. On behalf of the Board the CEO is responsible for ensuring that the strategic plan is actioned and oversees all operational activities of the organisation.
This includes staffing, professional development, and the day to day running of service. The CEO also provides essential input into planning, leading, directing and organising the service to ensure high standards are met and maintained, whilst being supported by the Business Manager/CFO.
Terri Carroll - Chief Executive Officer
Terri’s experience in the Disability Sector extends over 35 years and she has achieved a number of qualifications in this vocation.
Terri began her career as a direct support worker where she worked in several services across Central and Southern Victoria.
Terri is the founding CEO of MiLife-Victoria (formerly Peninsula Access Support and Training, P.A.S.T) and has held this position for the last twenty 27 years.
Terri’s leadership and Board experience extend beyond the organisation to the broader sector and her local community. Terri remains a passionate advocate for the rights of people with disability and through her appointment as a member of the National Disability Services State Committee, she is a strong advocate for service sector too.
Ross Mackay - Chief Financial Officer
Ross has over 15 years’ accounting experience working in various roles from Accountant to CFO and started at MiLife-Victoria in the role of Chief Financial Officer in September 2018. He has a significant background in providing accurate and sound financial reporting and analysis, strategic leadership, driving innovation and systems improvement as well as proven skills engaging with key stakeholders.
Ross’ most recent appointments have been in the health and not-for-profit sectors – the last 13 years with member peak bodies liaising with not-for-profits on a State and National scale. He has collaborated with the commercial and financial sectors to establish beneficial partnerships for significant commercial benefit.
Ross is also passionate about the safety and protection of children and children's rights - especially Indigenous children and maintaining their links with community and culture.
